The LACCD Board of Trustees adopted resolutions to establish a Community Economic Development Program (CEDP) for Proposition A/AA work. The CEDP includes an Internship Program geared to involve District students at each of the Los Angeles Community Colleges.

The District believes that the Interns Program is a key component of the Bond Program that can be realized through collaborative effort engaging businesses, college faculty, and student seeking to enrich their academic education with a work experience that will assist them in their career preparation. LACCD Jobs Program

The LACCD Board of Trustees adopted resolutions to establish a Community Economic Development Program (CEDP) for Proposition A/AA work. The CEDP includes workforce development goals. These goals are specifically referred in the PLA.

If you are a contractor or a sub-contractor working on the Proposition A/AA Bond program, the Project Labor Agreement (PLA) local hiring goals may apply to you.  On many Proposition A/AA projects, contractors and sub-contractors are expected to use the Craft Request Forms when requesting workers from the union locals.
